Our second year apprentices enjoyed an interesting visit to Exeter Aerospace Services which enabled them to improve their understanding of the work carried out at this modern Aircraft Repair and Overhaul facility.
A particular aspect of the visit was to demonstrate to the apprentices the vital and safety critical role that the Surface Engineering Industry plays in the Aerospace sector. They had a great time looking at aircraft in various states of repair and refurbishment and enjoyed climbing inside airframe’s and generally pointing out where surface coatings had been applied.
