Based at South West Metal Finishing Exeter

Reporting Relationships

Chris Smith – Customer Services Manager

Main Responsibilities

  • Person who can use basic Microsoft package – emails, Excel etc.
  • Confidence in talking to customers on the telephone and on Teams (and occasionally in person)
  • Responding to progress queries
    Accurate handling of telephone queries and passing them on to the relevant people
  • Punctuality and attendance are key (may consider part time?)
  • Some reporting of delivery metrics
  • Training will be given on computer system.

Experience in another customer facing role would be good as would any involvement in dealing with KPI’s and aerospace etc.

  • The confidence to engage professionally with all levels of management
  • Professional appearance and manner at all times
  • Professional and engaging customer relationship skills
    Computer literate
  • Warm, helpful personality with a desire to learn and work flexibly as required
  • Full training for the role will be given.

  • Must have basic pc operating ability

Core Hours of Work

08:00 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday.
08:00 – 15:00 Friday
