Sheffield Formula Racing, SFR, has represented the University of Sheffield in the internationally acclaimed Formula Student competition since 2010. South West Metal Finishing has assisted their efforts with some free processing of their additive layer manufactured Titanium Suspension Rockers using our bespoke Almbrite Process. Formula Student 2017 will take place on 20-23 July 2017 at Silverstone Circuit.
Formula Student is the most established educational engineering competition and a testing ground for the next generation of world-class engineers. It challenges university students from around the world to design and build a single-seat racing car, which is then put to the test at the famous Silverstone Circuit.
