SWMF are very pleased to report that we are now Cyber Essential (CE), enabled!
CE is a government backed scheme which guides businesses on ensuring they are protected from a wide range of the most common cyber-attacks. This helps us to improve and verify our IT systems against a national standard to ensure we continue to lead the way in our industry.
Peter Giles, Production Support Manager, stated:
“In the past year, there have been multiple enquiries about our CE status as it gains traction within the aerospace and defence industry. Also, having this approval, opens the doors to governmental contracts, which require this certification.
This currently applies to our Yeovil, Airport and Marsh Barton sites. This is a continuous improvement process, with further steps being implemented early next year. We will then integrate this important initiative, at our Chippenham facility”.
