Awards presented by General Manager Damon Gill – South West Metal Finishing
Congratulations to four managers from South West Metal Finishing who have successfully passed the Institute of Leadership and Management Level 3 certificate in Leadership and Management course (Chris Mayer, Leigh Cox, Kristen Mitchell and Peter Giles). The course comprised of 11 modules run over a year, covering various topics including performance management, problem solving, leading teams and coaching. Evidence of understanding was gathered on each topic and course work written and assessed by tutors from Wiltshire college and Proaction development. The course has given the managers a ‘tool kit’ to effectively and decisively lead their teams through improvement and change, whilst building their confidence as leaders.
